Rajesh K. Thumbakara joined Mar Athanasius College (Autonomous), Kothamangalam on December 2, 2004. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in Mathematics and the Dean of Research. He completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematics at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), receiving his doctorate in 2007 under the supervision of Prof. T. Thrivikraman. At Mar Athanasius College, a regional research center of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, he is a recognized research guide in Mathematics and mentors four doctoral scholars.
His research interests include Topology, Graph Theory, Algebra, Set Theory, and Artificial Intelligence.
