Department of Mathematics was recognized as regional research centre in Mathematics under Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam in July 2021. Areas of research interest are Topology, Graph Theory, Algebra, Fuzzy Set Theory, Lattice and Fuzzy Algebra. The department has to its credit 85 research papers and 80 national/international presentations. Currently eight scholars are pursuing research.
