The department of Chemistry envisions to pioneer in academic quality and research in Chemical Science through our skilled training for undergraduate, postgraduate and research students.

All the Faculty members of the Department are actively engaged in high-quality advanced research, which complements and enhances the Department's teaching. Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, recognizes the department as a research center. The faculty members of the Department Received Research Grants from various  funding agencies like  Department of Science and Technology (DST),  University Grants Commission (UGC), and Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE).
