The Department of Physics started a series of interactive sessions called "Getting Ready for What's Next!" for the I BSc Physics students. The first session of the series "Basics of Professional Networking" was conducted on 26th June 2021, Saturday from 3-4 pm. The session was handled by their mentor Dr. Saritha K Nair.
The session was aimed at educating students regarding professional networking skills. The session introduced to students the basics of professional networking, professional networking platforms and the role that networking can play in their professional development and employment prospects. It is also planned to evaluate the development of these skills through such in-class activities across their degree programme
