Research

 My area of research is mainly focused on development of molecular approaches for plant improvement with following components -
1) Application of contemporary genetic and genomic technologies to study genome variations and inheritance of complex traits in plants.
2) Development and application of genomics assisted breeding strategies for crop improvement.
3) Molecular genetics and integrated functional genomics of plant adaptation to stress environments.
