Mar Athanasius College, Kothamangalam provided a confused youth like me the sense of direction and purpose.It wasn't just studies at MAC, it was everything a perfect boiling pot of fun,knowlege,academic freedom and an enriching environment that promoted curiosity.The faculty was perhaps the biggest factor that made my bachelors delightful.They provided a condition that fostered innovation and curiosity, matching our enthusiasm in academic and non academic activities.They were always there to help me out and build me up.MAC strikes a perfect balance between academics and extra curricular activities which made my 3yrs of Bachelors a joy. It wouldn't be hyoerbole to say that this was a place that made me feel like home.

I got a chance to write and direct a play based on Johann Wolfgang Goethe's "Faust" for MA College Physics Association during my college days. We staged it in the drama competition and got the first prize. The emotional exuberance created by that stage experience, which is one the most beautiful memories of my college life, still persuading me to explore the deep realities of human life.

My M.Sc. in Physics (2022–2024) at Mar Athanasius College provided me with a strong academic foundation and excellent experimental training. The supportive faculty, structured curriculum, and research exposure played a key role in shaping my analytical and problem-solving skills.
Building on this, I am currently pursuing M.Sc. Photonics at Friedrich Schiller University Germany, where I continue to advance in optics and photonic technologies. The solid grounding I received at Mar Athanasius College has been instrumental in my academic progression.

My bachelor’s degree in Physics (2018-21 batch) from MA College laid a strong foundation for my research career. Beyond academics, it equipped me with valuable research experience and active engagement in co-curricular activities. MA College fosters an environment that enables students to develop their skills and prepare confidently for the future.

I am currently a PhD candidate at Louisiana State University. During my undergraduate studies in Physics at M.A. College, I discovered my passion for research. The faculty in the department played a pivotal role in shaping my academic journey by supporting my applications for national-level research internships. I am deeply grateful for the department’s consistently supportive and encouraging environment for learning.

While studying for my bachelor's degree in Physics at Mar Athanasius College, I had the privilege of learning from a group of distinguished teachers and mentors. Their expert guidance and support reached far beyond the classroom, playing a vital role in my journey towards my aspired research position. Furthermore, the faculty consistently encouraged us to look beyond our formal coursework by promoting participation in national and international competitions and activities, effectively preparing us for engagement in the global academic community.

My B.Sc. in Physics from Mar Athanasius College opened new pathways and opportunities that helped shape my academic and professional career. The department provided a warm, supportive, and encouraging environment, and the faculty members offered complete guidance throughout the program. In addition to the core curriculum, the department organized courses and workshops that enhanced knowledge and practical skills.
