My association with M.A College started in 1983 as a Pre-degree student. As someone hailing from a remote village, the initial days proved to be rather challenging. After the initial setback, my perceptive shifted during the second year. I attribute my success to my Science Teachers.The real shift happened when I joined as a Sociology Undergraduate in 1985. I owe my success to the unwavering support and guidance from the Sociology department. They equipped me see the world from a social Science perspective. As a former Science student the assimilation to Social Science demanded a significant resocialisation. My faculty Prof. T M Paily, Dr. Ashly, Dr. Sara, Dr. Mary, Prof. Valsamma, played a vital role to help me ease into the Discipline.

I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to my teachers who enriched my educational experience and ultimately lead me to this journey to pursue my current profession as a Sociology Faculty at sacred Heart College, Thevara.
